Mazdzer was born on June 26, 1988, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He grew up in New York where he first started to get involved with the sport when he was only 8 years old. He studied at the National Sports Academy putting an emphasis on sports and would later go on to attend the DeVry University in Illinois.
