Biography

He was born and raised in Queens New York City on 4th December 1974. He then studied in the City University of New York. Here he did his bachelors and master’s degree programs in Psychology. This did not stop there since he was determined with his education. From the City University, he joined Pennsylvania State University. At Pennsylvania, he pursued his master’s degree in Business Administration.

He is a man of many hats. He is a former secret service agent, an American conservative commentator, radio host, author, and the former congressional candidate. He is also a member of the Republican Party congress where he did run unsuccessfully during the years of 2012-2016

Family

Family is an essential thing in society, and nothing can be replaced by it. He is from an Italian family. However, information about the parents is not disclosed to the public. On the other hand, he is a family man. He is married to Paula Andrea nee Martinez who was born in Colombia. With her, he has two beautiful daughters. The firstborn is known as Isabel, who was born in 2004, and the second born is known as Amelia born in 2012.  He now lives in Palm City Florida after migrating with his family from Severna Park. Maryland.

Professional Career

This is a person who is talented in various fields. To begin with, he served in the New York City police department (NYPD). This is as between the years 1995 to 1999. Afterward, he joined the Secret service and book release in 1999. He then left the officer in 2002 to become an instructor in the Secret Service Training Academy.  The institution is located in Beltsville, Maryland.

He did serve in this office up to 2006 when he was assigned to become a U.S. presidential Protection division agent. Here served as an agent to the former president George W. Bush. Then continues with his job even after President Obama replaced Bush. This was his last term of service, and he resigned in 2011 to run for a U.S. Senate seat.

He even published a book known as “life inside the bubble.” The novel talks about his life as a secret service agent. It narrates his experiences showing how he investigated federal crimes, protected President Bush and Obama, and his bid to run for .U.S. Senate in Maryland in 2012.

Some of the agents who work on the same department considered his novel to be a move to propel his political career. Some of his colleges regarded the novel to be an exaggeration of what their work is all about. This is something he comes forward and clarifies that it was his experience in the workforce. In 2016 he published another novel known as “The Fight: A Secret Service Agent inside Account of Security Fallings and Political Machine.” These are books that various people find intriguing and magnificent to read.    His life as a writer did not come to a stop. He released a book known as Spygate. It talked about the conspiracy theory pushed by Trump.

He has been a radio host and commentator for both national and local radio programs. Including being a guest host for Mark Levin and Sean Hannity radio show. On another occasion, you will find him in D.C. and WBAL radio in Baltimore or WMAL radio in Washington.

He was also a paid contributor to NRATV up to 2018 December. Bongino has featured in various T.V. programs such as Fox News’ opinion program and InfoWars. Later in December 2018, he hosted Sean Hannity’s Fox News show as well.  Politics

President Donald Trump on May 2018, quoted Bongino in one of his tweets to have attacked the former CIA Director John Brennan. He was quoted as saying Brennan “has disgraced the entire Intelligence Community. He is the one man who is largely responsible for the destruction of American’s faith in the Intelligence Community and some people at the…top of the FBI.” Bongino was also quoted as alleging that Brennan was “worried about staying out of jail.

In 2018 Trump claimed that the FBI spied on his 2016 presidential campaign. Trey Gowdy and other legal experts challenged these allegations. Later Bangino stated that Gowdy had been “fooled” by the department of justice.

In February 2019 there was a coup attempt against Donald Trump, he accused Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein of being behind it. He is also a member of the Groundswell who are activists in fighting to advance conservative causes.

In 2012 he ran for the U.S. Senate in Maryland. Brain Murphy was his campaign manager. He did win the Republican primary on 3rd April 2012. He garnered 33.8 percent of the votes than the other nine candidates. He later lost to Democrat Ben Cardin who had 55.3percent of the total votes with 33.8 percent of the vote, defeating nine other candidates. He finished with 26.6 percent of the votes.

Bongino did not lose hope when he lost the senate seat in 2012. He again ran for the U.S. House of Representatives’ position in 2014. He was against incumbent Democrat John Delaney whom he lost to b 2 percent of the votes.

In 2015 he moved to Florida. Later in 2016, he was undecided as to whether to run for Florida’s 18th congressional district and the United States Senate.  However, in June the same year, he declared that he would run for Florida’s 19th congressional district. He was seeking for the seat against Chauncey Goss and Francis Rooney. He also lost the place to Rooney.
