She attended Jericho high school and later went on to study in Old Bethpage at the Cultural Arts Playhouse. In 1997, Sigler was cast as Meadow Soprano, daughter of New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos. The show premiered in 1999 and became a huge success. She continued to play the role through the series finale in 2007. The role is her most well know performance and would probably be described as “Meadow” in American households. In 2008, Sigler appeared as herself in 13 episodes of the fifth and sixth season of the HBO series Entourage. In the fifth season, she appeared in the episodes “First Class Jerk”, “Playing With Fire” and “Return to Queens Blvd”, as the love interest of the character Sal ‘Turtle’ Assante, portrayed by Jerry Ferrara. She returned as a recurring guest star for season six of the series, after becoming Ferrara’s real-life girlfriend. She starred as a guest in the TV series How I Met Your Mother on in the episode “Woooo!”.

She said that the trip gave her a greater understanding of her Jewish ancestry.
