Stacey Dooley is an English Television presenter and journalist. She is best known for making television documentaries for BBC Three regarding issues related to child labor and women in developing countries. As of 2018, Stacey Dooley net worth is estimated to be $1 million.
Stacey was born on March 9, 1987 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. She made her first appearance on television on the documentary TV series “Blood, Sweat and T-shirts” in 2008. Prior to that, she used to work as a shop assistant at Luton Airport.
Due to her interest in labour laws in developing countries, Stacey was given her own series and her show “Stacey Dooley Investigates” was aired in 2009. Some of the issues she has covered on her documentaries are: sex trafficking and underage sex slavery in Cambodia, Kids with Guns, Thailand: Tourism and the Truth, Thailand’s Drug Craze and Europe’s Dirty Drugs Secret.
In 2012, she covered her hometown Luton in a documentary titled “My Hometown Fanatics”. In that program, she interviewed Islamist and the English Defence League. The same year, three-part series “Coming Here Soon” was broadcast on BBC which showed the issues related to the young people in three countries affected by the global financial crisis: Greece, Ireland and Japan.
In 2016, she presented “Stacey Dooley in Cologne: The Blame Game” which covered about the New Year’s Eve Sexual assaults in Germany.
