Dr. Mark Deuber was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1967 and immigrated to the United States at just two years old. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Haverford College, a prestigious liberal arts institution. He subsequently attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society, a recognition reserved for top medical students.
Deuber completed both his general surgery residency (1996-1999) and plastic surgery residency (1999-2001) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, one of the nation’s premier medical institutions.
Career Highlights
Before pursuing medicine, Deuber worked as an investment banker at Bear Stearns in Manhattan for three years. However, his artistic nature and passion for working with his hands guided him toward plastic surgery. Following his residency in 2001, he built a highly successful private practice in Dallas. He became certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in breast augmentation and reconstruction, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty.
One of his notable achievements is the development of The MobileDeepPlane Facelift, an innovative surgical technique. He has been affiliated with Baylor Scott and White Medical Center-Uptown and Baylor University Medical Center. In collaboration with his wife Cary, Deuber founded Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, a comprehensive surgical and aesthetic facility in Dallas.
