Oritse Williams is an English singer, songwriter and dancer. He is best known as the founding member of the boy band JLS. He was the runners up on the 5^th season of “The X Factor” in 2008. He also won the dancing competition “Stepping Out” in 2013.

Born on November 27, 1986 in London, Oritse, set up a band with friends Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and it was called UFO. Later on the group auditioned for the C Factor and changed his name to JLS. After their initial success, he went on to sell 10 million records worldwide and top the charts multiple times. He also won 5 MOBOs and 2 BRIT Awards.

On September 14, 2018, he was charged with rape of a fan in Wolverhampton.
