Born Glenda Hulita Elisabeth Batta on June 19, 1978 in Amsterdam, Grace got discovered after she won the Dutch TV talent show called “Soundmixshow”. She won the competition performing the song “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston.

In 2005, she competed in the National Song Contest which is the national selection in the Netherlands for Eurovision Song Contest. She represented Netherlands in the contest but she couldn’t make it to the final.

In 2012, Grace founded the Dutch super group “Ladies of Soul” with other singers Candy Dulfer, Berget Lewis, Edsilia ROmbley and Zangers but the group was broken in 2017.

Grace wrote the song “Als je slaapt” for her son Anthony and performed it on a Dutch TV show. One of her song titled “Afscheid” was certified gold in the Netherlands. A compilation of the songs she performed live at a concert was also released as an album and DVD. That album was her Platinum record.

Glennis appeared on the 13th season of America’s Got Talent. She performed Whitney Houston’s song “Run To You” in her audition round. In the next round she performed “Nothing Compares to You” by Prince and then “Never Enough” in the quarterfinals. In the semi-final she performed “This Woman’s Work” by Kate Bush. She is now in the finals of AGT.
