Introduction
Kylian Mbappé is a French professional footballer, who currently plays as a striker for the club Paris Saint-Germain, having previously played for Monaco. He had a breakthrough season in 2016/17 as a teenage talent and hasn’t looked back since, teaming up with stars like Neymar Jr. and Cavani in PSG.
Early Life
Mbappe was born on 20 December 1998, in Bondy, France. His father Wilfried was very supportive of a career in football and even acted as his coach when he joined AS Bondy. Even in his early days, he was already being eyed by the academies of Real Madrid and Valencia trying to sign him. He along with his family made a decision that he would be playing for Monaca partly for it being part of his own culture and country.

He scored his first hat trick on 14 December 2016 and continued his staggering form. He also became the second youngest French scorer in UEFA Champions League history behind Karim Benzema. By the end of the season, he had been way ahead of those aged similar to him in terms of performances and among all the senior players who had contributed significantly for their teams.
There were a lot of rumors surrounding what the future of Mbappe was. Real Madrid had a lot of interest in the young kid as well as interest from Manchester City. However, Mbappe decided that he would sign for Paris Saint Germain on a loan deal on 31 August 2017. It is expected that once the transfer happens on a permanent basis, the total costs for PSG is going to be well over €180 million. This is a very expensive deal which is just short of the massive deal that PSG had for Neymar.
With his arrival, PSG had a new image with Neymar, Mbappe, and Cavani leading the way for goals at the massive club. Even though he is still very young, he has been praised by many analysts as well as fellow footballers for the maturity that he shows on the pitch which shows the standards that he possesses.
He is set to become an integral part of France’s national team for the coming years to come. He scored five times for France when they had won the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Mbappé was called up to the senior France squad for the first time to face Luxembourg and Spain in March 2017.He has also been part of France’s journey to the 2018 World Cup finals and is set to be part of the 23 man French squad which will play in Russia for the great cup.
