Introduction
Anand Piramal is the son of billionaire businessman Ajay Piramal of the Piramal Enterprises. Recently he is in the spot-light after he got engaged with Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani.
Anand and Isha Ambani have been long-time friends while both the families have also known each other for over four decades. According to sources, Anand proposed Isha at a temple in Maharashtra’s Mahabaleshwar and she agreed to marry him.

Anand earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Pennsylvania while he received master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
His soon to be wife, Isha Ambani meanwhile is the daughter of business Tycoon, Mukesh Ambani. She is active on the Boards of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. She received Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and South Asian Studies from Yale University and will be completion her master’s degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford by June.
Before working as the Executive Director, Anand founded a start-up called Piramal eSwasthya. It is a healthcare initiative which treats around 40,000 patients a day. According to his profile, he has also been actively engaged in several of Piramal Foundation’s activities and has been the youngest President of the Indian Merchant-Chamber Youth Wing.

In-fact they had recommended Nita to Mukesh Ambani’s parents Dhirubhai and Kokilaben regarding their marriage.
On the other hand Anand and Isha have also known each other for several years. Anand proposed Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar and they celebrated happy time with a lunch, joined by their parents- Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, Swati Priamal and Ajay Piramal.
