Daniel Craig was born on March 2, 1968, in Chester, Cheshire, England. He was born Daniel Wroughton Craig is known as Daniel Craig. His father, Timothy John Wroughton Craig, was a midshipman in the Merchant navy and steel erector before setting up two pubs in Frodsham and Tarporley, respectively. He died in 2020 at 77 with his wife and two sons – Daniel and Harry beside his bedside after battling liver cancer. His mother, Carol Olivia, was an artist and art teacher at a school.
