Justin Theroux was born on 10 August 1971 in Washington D.C., United States, to mother Phyllis Grissim, an author and essayist and father Eugene Albert, a lawyer. His father is a half French and half Italian and his mother has German, English, Spanish and Dutch ancestry. He has a younger brother named Sebastian. From his mother’s side, he is the great-great-grandson of H.B Hollins, a banker, and railroad magnate of his time.
Theroux did his schooling at Lafayette Elementary School, Annunciation School, and the Field School, all in United States. He then attended Buxton High School in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and that’s where he began acting. In 1993, he graduated from Bennington College in Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in visual arts and drama.
