Rachel McAdams was born in London, Ontario, Canada on 17 November 1978. She was born Rachel Anne McAdams and was raised in a protestant household. McAdams is the eldest child of Sandra and Lance McAdams. Her mother was a nurse, while her father was a truck driver. She has two siblings, Kayleen McAdams (39) who is a make-up artist, and a brother Daniel McAdams.
