Ghislaine was born on December 25th, 1961, in Masions-Laffitte France. She was raised in Oxford at Headington Hill Hall. Maxwell attended Headington School, Marlborough College, and Balliol College. The 57-year-old is also known as Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell.

Ghislaine was born to his father Robert Maxwell and the mother, Elisabeth Maxwell. The mother was a French-born scholar, and the dad was a Czech born British media proprietor. Robert was the founder of Pergamon Press.
She is the ninth born in the family and the youngest. However, two days before she was born, her brother Michael who was the firstborn was involved in an accident. After the accident, he went to a prolonged coma and later passed on at age 15. This was back in 1967, and she never got a chance to meet her older brother.
This wasn’t the end of misfortune for the family. Ghislaine’s father died in 1991, and his body was found floating in the sea near the Canary Islands. His death affected her the most since she was his favorite among the siblings. Though his death was ruled out as an accidental drowning, Ghislaine strongly believed her dad was murdered.
When it comes to her family, she isn’t married and has no kids. However, she was in a relationship with the famous Ted Waitt. He is the founder of the Gateway computers. Later in 2011, she broke up with her longtime fiancé. Earlier in 1992, she was in a relationship with the wealthy American financier Jeffery Epstein.
The two were still close, according to The Wall Street Journal published in 2019. The journal reported the two were in touch and is believed that Maxwell managers most of his public and private life. This was just a rumour about the two having a romantic relationship, but none of them came forth to confirm these allegations.
Epstein had been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. He was a convicted sex offender. He was alleged to have engaged in sex trafficking of minors. He was later arrested on July 6th, 2019, and convicted. In August 10th, 2019, he was found dead in his cell. He had committed suicide after failed attempts that happened three weeks before his death.

Her career started early in the 1980s. She was a member of the prominent London social scene. She later founded a women’s club known as Kit-Cat Club. Ghislaine Maxwell was also a director of Oxford United Football Club back when her father was the owner.
Her career had just begun, and she was working at The European, which was a publication firm that his father had started as well. She worked closely with her father Robert to run his various businesses. On November 5th, 1990, she traveled to New York to deliver a letter from his father. She didn’t know what the letter contained but later learned that it was a plan by his dad to steal $200 million from Berlitz shareholders.
At a later stage, her father purchased The New York Daily News back in January 1991. She was asked by her dad to go to New York City and act as his emissary in the firm. However, after his death, he was found to have fraudulently appropriated the pension assets of the Mirror Group.
In her line of work, she was spotted socializing with prominent people such as Adhan Khashoggi’s son and Ivana Trump. On September 26th, 2012, Maxwell founded a nonprofit environmental organization known as “The TerraMar Project”. The organization is geared towards conserving and protecting the oceans.

Mossad rumors
There are unsubstantiated rumors that both Epstein and Ghislaine are Israeli spies who were sex trafficking to politicians for blackmail. This was from a book by Ari Ben-Menashe (Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales) who is a businessman who claims to have worked for Mossad. Ben-Menashe also claims that Ghislaine’s farther also worked for Mossad in his book Profits of War.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s net worth is estimated to be $20 million. However, we believe she may have additional assets that increases her net value. Ghislaine has a 7,000 –square-foot townhouse located on East 65th Street. The house is also situated near Epstien’s Mansion.
The townhouse was valued at $4.95 million, but the property was sold at $15 million in April 2016. She was a beneficiary of the sale. Maxwell also owns properties in her native England.
