Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson also known by his stage name as Alyssa Edwards is an American drag performer, businessman and choreographer.

Alyssa was born on January 16, 1980, in Uptown, Dallas, Texas. He started his career in 2003 by making his drag debut appearance under his name Alyssa Edwards at Miss Gay Texas drag pageant where he finished as the first alternate. Next year , he won Miss Gay Texas America. In 2005, he also won the 2005 Miss Northwest Regional Representative and Miss Gay USofA the next year.
In 2008, Johnson appeared in documentary titled ‘Pageant’. It focused on the 34th Miss Gay America pageant of 2006. In 2010, Johnson was stripped of his 2010 Miss Gay America title for having business dealings in conflict with obligations to the Miss Gay America Organization.
Johnson also competed on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. He was eliminated in episode nine finishing sixth in the competition. The following year, he decided to make his own web series called ‘Alyssa’s secret’ produced by World of Wonder Productions.
In addition to that, he has also appeared in television shows like My Life as Liz, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, NewNowNextAwards, Beyond Belief, Skin Wars, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and Dancing Queen.
As a businessman , he has established his own dance studio called ‘Beyond Belief Dance Company’ which is located in Texas.
