Walk Through the Article
Net Worth
Back in 2017, he became a newcomer to the lists of highest-paid actors of the said year. Another one from the same year, he became the Top 1 in Forbes list of Hollywood’s Best Actors for the Buck ($93.80 for every $1 paid) leaving Emma Watson at the 2nd spot and Scarlett Johansson for the 3rd.

House Flipping
When Jeremy isn’t shooting deadly arrows or kicking some alien ass, he does some other brilliant stuff that probably only his fans knew. One of his other passion comes from real estate which is house flipping: the process of buying a property, renovating it, and selling it for a profitable price.

The actor had renovated more than 25 properties already. His most recent work involves a 10,000 square foot mansion that he bought back in 2010 for $7 million and is currently selling now for $25 million after flipping.

The property now contains 6 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a home theater, pools, five elegant fireplaces, 2 large walk-in closets, a detailed ceiling, a gorgeous wine cellar, and a beautiful kitchen.

His Cool Cars
Jeremy is one of the Avengers cast known to have a passion for awesome cars. His garage consists of a $30,000 Jeep Wrangler, a $110,000 Porsche Carrera 4, and a sleek $75,000 Tesla Model S.

The Passion for Music
Although his songs hadn’t made it to the charts just yet, we can’t deny that our guy has a talent. The actor is a singer-songwriter, drummer, keyboardist, and guitarist. Some of his songs were featured in movies like North Country (2005) and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007).
The Jeremy Renner App
Yes, there is an app intended for Renner’s fans. Unfortunately, it had to be shut down due to some people using the platform in the most abusive way possible. “What was supposed to be a place for fans to connect with each other has turned into a place that is everything I detest and can’t or won’t condone.”

Early Life
Born on January 7, 1971, in Modesto, California, Jeremy Lee Renner is the first-born child of Valerie Cearley Tague and Lee Renner (a former manager of McHenry Bowl in Modesto back in the 80s). He has 6 younger siblings and their descendants can be traced with German, Swedish, Panamanian, English, Irish, and Scottish. Sadly, his parents divorced when he was still 10.

Relationships
With those tantalizing blue eyes, a charismatic voice who can play instruments, and a decent actor at the same time, it’s no wonder how this man can make some of the most beautiful faces in the industry fall for him. Here are some of the ladies he’s been linked with (confirmed and rumored):
Jeremy and Jes Macallan
The two started dating within the year 2005 and broke up 5 years later in 2010. Jes was 22 years old at the time the relationship started and Jeremy was 33 at the time. While it isn’t clear about the specifics of their breakup, it appears that the two became good friends afterward. They currently play roles in two different comic book universes: Jeremy being Hawkeye in the MCU and Jes playing Ava Sharpe in the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow (which is a part of the DCEU).

Jeremy and Charlize Theron
The rumors about these two great actors started around early 2010, the same year that Jeremy and Jes split up. That being said, the media and fans speculated that Charlize could be the reason as to why the former broke up. The issues were then dismissed by the actor saying: “We’re just friends. We’re crazy about each other. I can go hang out with her and play her piano and sip Scotch.”.

Jeremy and Janet Montgomery
Back in 2011, the actor was spotted seeing the British actress Janet Montgomery. This was while she was shooting Human Target and Jeremy is working for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. They were also spotted in Berlin and L.A.’s Runyon Canyon.

Jeremy and Sonni Pacheco
The pair met and started dating back in 2011 and 2 years later, they were blessed with a daughter which they named Ava. In September 2014, Renner and Pacheco got married but unfortunately, Pacheco filed for divorce 2 months after. The initial reasons for her submitting a divorce are fraudulent prenuptial agreements which Renner had her signed and some irreconcilable differences.

In 2015, the divorce was finalized and both of them are granted custody of their daughter. However, that doesn’t seem to be the end of it. In September 2019, Sonni filed for sole custody of their daughter claiming that Renner is falling behind the monthly child support, having some violent behaviors, and accusations of drug use.
Movies
According to IMDB, the actor has a total of 59 acting credits under his name. We’ll recall some of the memorable roles he played for the past years:

The Bourne Legacy: Aaron Cross
The 4th installment of the Bourne Franchise, or might as well call it the spin-off, Renner plays Outcome #5 (Aaron Cross). The events of this film happen after the escape of Jason Bourne from The Bourne Supremacy (2004). Cross is the only survivor left after it was decided to terminate all Operation Outcome agents before the Senate investigation team found out that the operative does exist.
American Hustle: Mayor Camine Polito
Released in 2013, the movie is inspired by actual events related to an FBI sting operation in the 70s and 80s which is widely known as Operation ABSCAM. Renner is joined with some of the biggest names in the industry like Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer Lawrence. A.H. is a solid film with suspenseful turnarounds, a smooth narrative, and over the top performances. Jeremy won a S.A.G. Best Cast award for starring in this film.
The Town: James Coughlin
Adapted from a 2004 novel named Prince of Thieves, The Town is an action crime thriller co-written and directed by Ben Affleck. The film was released back in 2010 and is considered one of the best heist movies to date. Renner also earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor back in 2011.
Mission Impossible Franchise: William Brandt
Renner played a newly recruited agent in Ethan Hunt’s (Tom Cruise) team. His first appearance was in Ghost Protocol (2011) wherein the IMF was disavowed by the government which resulted in Hunt’s team going underground to prove their innocence.
Jeremy reprised his role in Rogue Nation (2015) although his scenes were mostly shot inside of a court considering he got promoted to an IMF Director.

He was onboarded to the M.I. franchise right when his career is boosting with offers. The first time he read the script for the Ghost Protocol and felt that the role wasn’t meant for him.
Before he can even say his opinion in full, he was asked to go to Paramount and meet with Cruise who made some hard selling to the actor to accept the role. Renner asked for some time to think about it but when he got home, Tom called him and again persuaded Jeremy to accept the offer until he finally agreed to it.
The Hurt Locker: Sergeant First Class William James
Considered as Renner’s best movie to date, The Hurt Locker is an Iraq War inspired film built on realism and solid acting. His character doesn’t speak much but the emotions he brought to the screen are flowing. The entirety of the movie is suspense-filled with beautiful slow-motion of explosions which leaves its viewer quiet while waiting for the next blast. William James is an expert at bomb defusion and is very addicted to war. This 2008 film earned him a nomination for Best Actor in both Academy Awards and B.A.F.T.A. back in 2010.
Marvel Cinematic Universe: Clint Barton/Hawkeye
This list won’t be complete if we won’t include his most recent successful outing. Renner plays Clint Barton, also called Hawkeye as his alias, is a proficient marksman who mainly used a specialized set of arrows in every combat. He later took on the identity of Ronin.

The role wasn’t given to him at first but to Jensen Ackles, who previously auditioned for Captain America. Due to Ackles’ scheduling conflicts, he turned down the role which then offered to Jeremy.
He trained under the supervision of some Olympic archers to enhance his skills but he later admitted that only some of those came into play when the cameras began to roll. “Real archery is not superhero Hawkeye archery. So, the training kind of helped, but it kind of got in the way, as well. I did train to shoot arrows.”
Everything seems to be going out smoothly for the character and Renner is expected to reprise his role as Hawkeye in the upcoming Hawkeye series that will be shown on Disney+. None of the cast has been revealed officially but it seems that IMDB already posted Hailee Steinfeld as one of the main actors. She is rumored to play the role of Kate Bishop. (We’ll just hope for the best for Renner then!)
