Family
Lorrain was born to Jamaican and St Lucian parents. She was later adopted and raised by Roger Woodward who is the father and Audrey Woodward the mother. They had a son who was called Jason.
The father was a lecturer at Oxford while the mother was a nurse. Lorraine was only 18 months old when she was brought into the family. Therefore she knew that to be her family. However, when she was three years old her parents got divorced. This made life hard for her as she had to move to an orphanage when the mother got ill. This was because she couldn’t take care of her while ill.
Pascale was then taken in by other foster parents, and lived with them until she was seven years old. Once she was seven years, Lorraine returned to Audrey the original foster mother because she knew her to be the biological mother.
Later Lorraine came to learn that Audrey is not her biological mother. She found out about her biological parents but she wouldn’t want to hear leave alone staying with them. To her they were not her parents at all. She came to learn that the biological parents have four other children. Career
We can say Lorraine’s career started when she was a teenager and still going to school. At the age of 16, she was spotted by a modeling agent and moved to New York. She took up the profession and was good at it.
Lorraine was recognized at the first black British model to appear on the cover of American Elle. In 1998 she also appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Pascale also featured at one of the Bond Girls in Robbie Williams “Millennium” Film.
Pascale took a step to ensure she has a career even after modeling. It was a clever decision Lorraine made since she knew it was safe to have something to go back to after modeling. This made her to try out other careers such as car mechanics and hypnotherapy.
However as time passsed, she chose to take a diploma cookery course at Leith’s School of Food and Wine back in 2005.Pascale enjoyed the course and after graduating she started to cook for various restaurants in London. She presented a television bakery program known as Baking Made Easy in 2011. This was aired on BBC television. She then published a book about the series. In the same year, Lorraine Pascale released a second series of the program that was broadcasted in September and October. There was a Last Minute Christmas program that she also released and it was aired on BBC Two on 22nd December 2011. The famous author published the third book in 2012 and it was about the series known as Fast, Fresh and Easy Food. The show was broadcasted in August and September 2012 on BBC Two.
