Lorraine Pascale was born on November 17th, 1972 in London, England and she was raised in Witney Oxford shire.  Lorraine is a Tv personality, Former model, chef, and even author.  She studied at a boarding school in Devon and later joined the University of West London.

Pascale graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2012 from the University. The 46-year-old weighs 56kg and has a height of 5ft 11inches. She currently resides in New York, United States.  Pascale has an estimated net worth of $30m and growing. Lorrain was born to Jamaican and St Lucian parents. She was later adopted and raised by Roger Woodward who is the father and Audrey Woodward the mother. They had a son who was called Jason.

The father was a lecturer at Oxford while the mother was a nurse. Lorraine was only 18 months old when she was brought into the family. Therefore she knew that to be her family. However, when she was three years old her parents got divorced. This made life hard for her as she had to move to an orphanage when the mother got ill. This was because she couldn’t take care of her while ill.

Pascale was then taken in by other foster parents, and lived with them until she was seven years old. Once she was seven years, Lorraine returned to Audrey the original foster mother because she knew her to be the biological mother.

Later Lorraine came to learn that Audrey is not her biological mother. She found out about her biological parents but she wouldn’t want to hear leave alone staying with them. To her they were not her parents at all. She came to learn that the biological parents have four other children. These are also her siblings but nothing is talked about them, their information has been kept private. We are still reviewing this information and when we find it we will update it immediately.

Later Lorrain reunited with the dad Roger and he had remarried. Now she has an elder brother and a younger half-sister.

At the age of 23, she got married to Kaz Balinski-Jundzill in 1995. However, in 2000 they got divorced.  They have a daughter called Ella Balinska and she is an actress who is causing a storm in the film industry.


We can say Lorraine’s career started when she was a teenager and still going to school. At the age of 16, she was spotted by a modeling agent and moved to New York. She took up the profession and was good at it.

Lorraine was recognized at the first black British model to appear on the cover of American Elle. In 1998 she also appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Pascale also featured at one of the Bond Girls in Robbie Williams “Millennium” Film.   

Pascale took a step to ensure she has a career even after modeling. It was a clever decision Lorraine made since she knew it was safe to have something to go back to after modeling. This made her to try out other careers such as car mechanics and hypnotherapy.

However as time passsed, she chose to take a diploma cookery course at Leith’s School of Food and Wine back in 2005.Pascale enjoyed the course and after graduating she started to cook for various restaurants in London. After a while, she realized that the restaurant hours were not flexible enough for her. Therefore she has to search for an avenue which has flexible hours and suits her needs.

She then established herself as a specialized cakemaker and was contracted with Selfridges. Lorraine supplied the firm with 100 Christmas cakes in 2008 and 2010. Later she opened up her cake shop in Covent Garden. This gave her the flexible hours to work and not to strain herself doing it.

 Television and Publishing work

She presented a television bakery program known as Baking Made Easy in 2011. This was aired on BBC television. She then published a book about the series. In the same year, Lorraine Pascale released a second series of the program that was broadcasted in September and October. The series was also accompanied by a book that had the fined details about the show.  

There was a Last Minute Christmas program that she also released and it was aired on BBC Two on 22nd December 2011. The famous author published the third book in 2012 and it was about the series known as Fast, Fresh and Easy Food. The show was broadcasted in August and September 2012 on BBC Two.       

In 2014 January Lorraine co-presented the famous show My Kitchen Rules. She also co-hosted The Nation’s Favourite Food alongside the famous Hairy Bikers. Her Tv life is not yet over since she is a judge on Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship and also the Spring Baking Championship.

 Pascale has also picked up the role as a mentor on Worst Bakers in America. She was a judge in a few episodes of the first season of Bakers vs. Fakers. Pascale is also a hostess for the season 2 of the show.     


Lorraine is interested in charity works and this is seen through the following.

  • She is a patron of the TACT which is the largest fostering and adoption charity.
  • Pascale is also an ambassador of The Prince’s Trust, National Careers Service and Rays of Sunshine  
  • She also visits Women’s Maximum security prisons and schools across the country. Lorraine talks to them about emotional resilience and confidence. This is part of her charity works that she engages in.
