Born on September 16, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, Jeff attended The School of Hard Knocks. He then graduated with a degree in Media studies from Sonoma State University.
Jeff is best known as the founder and president of Jampol Artist Management Agency. According to the company website, Jampol Artist Management develops, preserves, extends and enhances artist legacies. They are responsible for creation, maintain, build, promote and oversee the artists’ legacies or brands.
As a producer, Jeff has a hand in many films and Television shows like American Masters, The Doors: When You’re strange and Sympathy for the Devil: The Underground. In-addition to that, he has also worked as a manager for famous artists and bands like Otis Redding, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and Ramones. He has also served as the Advisor to the Michael Jackson Estate. Jeff and his team has also won a Grammy Award for Best Music Film “The Doors: When You’re Strange”.
