Judge Rinder is an English law barrister and television personality who looks up criminal cases in a studio courtroom in a series ‘Judge Rinder’. As of 2018, Judge Rinder net worth is estimated to be $7 million.

Born on May 31, 1978 to a Jewish family, Rinder was raised in Southgate, London. He attended Queen Elizabeth’s School for boys and then National Youth Theatre. He wanted to become an actor but he gave up because his close friend, Benedict Cumberbatch was so good at it. Switching his dream, he then studied politics, modern history and art at the University of Manchester where he graduated with double first class honours.

After graduating from University of Manchester, he became a tenant at ‘2 Hart’ Court. He was given task to look up cases involving international fraud, money laundering and other forms of financial crime. His early contribution was involvement in prosecutions of the murders of Leticia Shakespeare and Charlene Ellis. Since 2010, he has been active in investigating crimes related to corruption, fraud in the British Overseas Territory of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Rinder is best known to people for his famous television program “Judge Rinder”. The format of the show is similar to the popular American show ‘Judge Judy’. The program handles small cases in a studio courtroom where different cases are handled in different episodes. He is also sometimes referred to as ‘British Judge Judy’.

In 2016, he presented a new series called ‘Judge Rinder’s Crime Stories’ while he has also hosted ‘Raising the Bar’ on BBC Radio 5 Live. In-addition to that, he has shared his experience on law publishing a book called ‘Rinder Rules’. He has also been the regular columnist for newspapers like ‘The Sun’ and ‘London Evening Standard’.

In 2016, Rinder competed in the 14th season of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ where he got eliminated in the week 11. He finished in the fifth place.

He is married to Seth Cumming. His best friend Benedict Cumberbatch presented the ceremony. In January 2018, it was reported that Rinder and his civil partner Seth Cumming had split.
